About
Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where a few of us kept sending each other links to weird little mobile games nobody was talking about. At some point we realized we had opinions worth writing down, so here we are with a proper site.
We're a tiny editorial team. Everyone here actually installs the game, plays it for a real amount of time, and only then sits down to write. If a game bores us after twenty minutes, we say so. If it grabs us for a week, that goes in too.
Games get picked for one reason: someone on the team found them interesting. We lean toward independent developers and overlooked titles, and we try to cover every genre rather than drowning in one. Puzzles are great, but so are racers, RPGs and strange little simulators.
We don't chase trends and we don't run sponsored coverage dressed up as reviews. What you read is what we genuinely think.
